No. Magnetic chargers work just like regular wireless chargers and pass multiple safety certifications. With built-in safeguards against overheating and overcharging, they won't harm your battery. Just be sure to use original or high-quality certified chargers to guarantee stable charging and optimal battery life.
Not all phones support magnetic charging. The magnetic feature requires the phone to have built-in support for MagSafe or a similar standard. Alternatively, you can enable this function by attaching a MagSafer Pro.
Compared to wired fast charging, magnetic charging is generally slightly slower, but it is more than sufficient for everyday use. Choosing a magnetic charger that supports fast wireless charging (such as 15W or higher) can improve efficiency. Please note that the wattage of your power adapter will also affect the overall charging speed.
